What I do in my free time

Hello everyone! Sorry it's been a little whille since I last posted, but I've been crazy busy with school!
There aren't many updates at the moment, but I decided to show you guys what sorts of things I do, that are Libera related in my free time! Also, look out for a new post comming up with 3 (or more) new CD's that I'll be getting on my brithday, January 27th!

During choir I often get quite bored because our director has to spend half the lesson lecturing some members on how to behave, or while she is working with the Altos or Soprano 2s  and I have some spare time I like to, let's say decorate, the backs of my sheet music.
 They can turn out looking like this;

Or this;
(not completed yet!)

Another thing I have done it wrote all the boys names on popsicle sticks, I'm going to eventualy make something using them, I'm just not sure yet! They couldn't all fit in the picture, but here's what I got.

I also like to make backgrounds for my iPod touch! I currently don't have any of mine saved to my new laptop, but I have 2 my friend made, so I'll use those as examples! [credits to Hannah!]

Hope ya'll liked the random post! I'll try to keep updating, hopefully we'll get more news as the Epsom concert approaches!

  1. Hey Rebecca!!
I never commented much on Libera dedicated blogspots so this is my 2nd post (on a blogspot)..

I've been a Libera fan for now 3 yrs!!!
I thought I was very lucky that I got accepted to go to England at a university...because I love England and Libera haha!!

I'm an American student living here in England where I attend university, it's quite hard living here because I have no family living here or no one to depend on or help me around, so I get quite homesick 24/7, but I do have friends to help me!! But its still hard living on my own w/o my mom or dad by my side...family comes first..

I was still thinking whether or not if I will go to Epsom (I am not sure how far Epsom is from here) for the concert...but if I go...it will be my first concert (meaning my first Libera concert and regular concert) and I really want to go but my schedule is busy and I only have to spend my money on supplies for my course and food...

But maybe for another upcoming Libera concert here in England I will go!!! BTW You are a true Libera fan and keep it up and I want to wish happy early birthday and have the best one and all the best for your future!!^^

P.S. tell us all about Epsom!! You are so lucky!!

  2. Hi Alex! :D Thank you so much for commenting!

oh how cool! I really want to study in England, at least for one year, but I still have a ways to go before I decide on that, but I sure do love London!

I'm sure you must get homesick a lot, I know I would for sure, do you get to see your parents often?

I really hope you are able to attend! This will be my first Libera concert, and I'm excited to bits! Depending on where you are in England it shouldn't be too far, it's about 15 miles South West of London, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, if not Epsom there will always be more! Or maybe you could plan a trip home to the states when Libera will be here!
Aw, thanks! I wish you the best as well, and I really hope you can go to the/a concert!

Haha I will! Ill probably have a mile long review, so be ready for that ;D

  3. Hey!
    No problem for commenting!!
I have 2 yrs left to live here in England...until I finish universityA!
So I am not studying abroad but actually living here (I just learned that studying abroad means you only study for a semester lol)

I live in Hatfield (a really boring town and not much to do here)where my university is which is a hour from London...but I searched and it seems like a lot to go through to Epsom but you are right maybe when they visit the states!!

I am from New York so maybe if they plan a concert there I can go!!! (I hope so)
However, I am a big Andre Rieu fan and I have been bugging my dad for ages if I could go to a concert of his in Radio City if he will plan one...lol so it will be hard to choose which concert to go to (if Libera will have one there)...

Sadly, I haven't seen my family for 4 months and I have to wait another 5 months til I see them(my mom came here with me to make me feel comfortable and then left to go back home), I only contact them through the phone...but they tell me not to get homesick, but I cannot help it!!

Haha well I cannot wait for your review and other reviews on Epsom, I really envy you!! ^^

See Ya and have a great one!!!

  4. Oh cool!
Yeah, if I do decide to study in england it will probably be anywere from a sememster to a year, but I do want to move there eventually!

Ah yeah, I think it would be pretty pricy.. we got the plane tickets for free, but food and housing is still going to be a pain to pay for. yeah! and according to the Epsom poster they sould be comming here soon!

Oh cool! I would love to go to NY for a concert! Well hopefully if you need to make the decission it won't be too hard!

you must miss them! 5 months isn't too long though! and at least you can still call them, which is good!

I've actually already started writing it.. LOL! Well more like.. drafting it.. xD

Thanks! and sorry it took so long to reply!

  5. Hey!!!
How did your birthday go?? I hope it went well!!! I just also find out one of my favorite music group's, Celtic Woman, is performing at Radio City on March 17th-18th (and whats funny is Libera in Epsom is on the 18th also) and what also is funny is CW is going to be at NY, and I won't be there, this was a chance to go but as i said I am stuck here :(
But there will be more chances right??!!

My dad has never heard of Libera before, and his a big fan of Andre Rieu like me...my older sis and little brother aren't really a fan of Andre but they like him!!!! And my mom i don't know if she knows Andre Rieu :P

My brother is the only one in my family who knows Libera through me, but my mom, sis, and dad are the only ones who don't know them!!! Alao my dad and I planned out a special dad-and-daughter event to go to an Andre Rieu concert first and later on other concerts (like Libera or CW) if so!!!!

I actually saw PCCB (French boys choir but have fans from all over the world...mostly East Asia)
in a mini concert (thats what I called it>>>and it was for free) when I went to France for Winter vacation (my first time in france and I adored it)!!! They were so beautiful live and very unique boys, some shy, some hyper, some outgoing, some funny ones!! When I saw them live onstage in their school uniforms I was picturing them in Libera's robes haha!!!

After the mini concert people talked to them and thank them, I couldn't really talk to them since I didn't know how to speak French, so I got my cousin to speak for me haha and I brought this up since they are a well known boys choir in France and some places aorund the world, not as well known as Libera though!!

Are you aloud to take pics at Epsom?? If so take a lot for me, if you can :P

Haha well I cannot wait to read your review than!!!!! ^-^

It's finally the last day of January woohoo!!!!

    See Ya!!!!
